The tough wearing but stylish flooring was chosen for the large living area in the London family home by interior designer Joanna Kippax at the Palladian Group. She said: “To paint a picture, the property is a large Victorian home – more than 4,000 sq ft (372 sq m) over five floors with six bedrooms and four bathrooms. We chose the double smoked, ebony oiled Dennebos floor as it is very attractive and instantly draws you in to the room. The floorboards are of a very high quality and have really created a feature, which is exactly what we hoped to achieve. We also loved the fact that the boards come in different widths – the overall look gives a real sense of space and individuality.”
